The GARDN Cabin was developed as an urban or garden workspace and retreat. Crafted in our workshops in East Lothian, It can be delivered anywhere in the UK as a complete modular unit or as a kit of parts that are assembled on site. The GARDN is completely sustainable using only natural materials and finishes as well as being fully customisable to suit your requirements and design tastes.

ALL OUR FINISHES ARE NATURAL, SUSTAINABLE, DURABLE AND EASY TO MAINTAIN. OUR CABINS ARE METICULOUSLY DESIGNED FOR MINIMAL LIVING. FURNITURE THAT IS DESIGNED TO FUNCTION AND COMPLEMENT THE SPACE IS IMPORTANT TO THE FINAL FEEL OF YOUR CABIN.

*Optional extras are available to add to the standard specification. Bothanna designs and makes bespoke furniture, storage, lighting, fixtures and stove installation.

FINISHES & FIXTURES

External finish, Home-grown European Larch Vertical or Horizontal Cladding. A contemporary rain screen profile comes as standard.

Internal finish, 18mm Spruce Plywood With Osmo Finish.

Floor finish, 18mm Spruce Plywood With Osmo Finish.

Electrics, The GARDN comes fully wired with lighting and 2 double socket points. Additional sockets can be requested if required. A Garage consumer unit is installed.

INTERIOR ADDITIONS

Stove Installation, We can install any brand of stove and can recommend several brands and models to suit the size of space. All our stoves are installed by HETAS certified installers.

Lighting, We work with wood and copper to make bespoke lighting for your cabin. This will enhance the atmosphere and mood of the space.

Furniture, We design functional and beautiful bespoke furniture from Scottish Hardwoods and Baltic birch plywood.

Under-floor heating The GARDN can be installed with underfloor heating and will require additional flooring covering.

EXTERIOR OPTIONS

Sedum, Sedum roofs are a great way to add biodiversity to an urban garden or allow a building to settle into a landscape. They also have the benefit of stabilising internal temperatures, minimising summer overheating and winter cooling.

Timber Cladding, Cladding the roof with the same material as the walls creates a unified and contemporary look to the GARDN cabin.
